Paul Coebergh van den Braak has more than 25 years of experience in managing product and technology development in various companies and application fields, with emphasis on software, electronics and ICT systems. He was with Philips for 8 years in the eighties and again since 1998. Over the last 10 years he has frequently been responsible for advanced developments in the Healthcare domain including Home Healthcare.

In 2006 Paul joined Philips Intellectual Property and Standards - a corporate organization entrusted with policies and operations in the areas of IPR and standardization. As Senior Director standardization Paul sets directions for standardization for the global businesses of Philips Healthcare and manages a set of standardization programs relevant to them. This includes both industry standards and formal standards linked to regulatory requirements. Paul is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. He holds academic degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration.
