Steve carries out a key leadership role in the future direction of
the Tunstall Group. He joined Tunstall in 1996 and his responsibilities
include the definition and implementation of the product and technology
roadmap, development of relationships through key supplier and customer
partnerships and establishing the direction of system, software and
electronic design teams.
Key achievements include the creation of key pilot projects that have
brought telecare and telehealth availability into the mainstream, the
integration of health and social care applications and the enhancement
of products to provide interoperable care solutions. In addition Steve
is leading initiatives on next generation health and social care
integration, social inclusion, digital and mobile solutions.
Prior to Tunstall, Steve graduated in Physics from Trinity College,
Cambridge. He then spent 17 years on the design and delivery of safety
critical systems and software for the monitoring and control of railway,
metro, nuclear facilities and aero applications, with Rolls Royce and
Westinghouse Signals.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing cricket and football, hill
walking and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
