The MSP430 USB Agent Platform is a Continua Certified, hardware-software platform that will allow medical device manufacturers to reduce their development 
time for Continua-compliant devices. This platform uses the MSP430TM microcontroller, which is the industry's lowest-power microcontroller and especially suitable for portable medical devices. The device specializations that have been certified on this platform include the following: blood pressure monitor, blood glucose meter, digital thermometer, pulse oximeter, and weight scale.
